This client came to me in the hopes of giving their home a facelift with the ultimate goal of making it a bit less formal. The kitchen cabinetry was in wonderful condition and the only change they wanted to make was to lower the seated portion of their island from bar height to counter height. New countertops, backsplash, plumbing, lighting, and hardware were selected, as well as new finishes for the cabinetry, flooring, and brick. Silver Crow Studios re-finished the solid cherry trestle table and benches to have a barnwood appearance, and the homeowner selected new barstools.
The dining room needed only to be painted, a chandelier and medallion, and area rug selected. The homeowners utilized their beautiful collection of original paintings throughout the main level.
The wood floors were completely refinished and stained a walnut color. The original carpet runner was removed and the stairs refinished as the floors. The handrail and newel posts were stained to match.
